storage_drain_params.store_min | 0.48 |
storage_drain_params.store_max | 0.48 |
Where: Table 2(a), Pavement column, p. 223
Gives Si = 0.48 mm for Pavement. Footnote b attributes the adopted value to Davies and Hollis (1981), while Järvi et al. publish the exact SUEWS parameter.
Where: Table 3, site characteristics, p. 225
The evaluation sites are in Vancouver and Los Angeles, not Helsinki.
Where: Table 4(a), Pav column, p. 1701
Reuses Si = 0.48 mm for Pav in the cold-climate SUEWS table.
Where: Table 4 caption, p. 1701
States that values are sourced from Järvi et al. (2011) unless otherwise indicated; this unfootnoted Pavement storage value is inherited rather than determined in Helsinki.
| Name | supported Paved identifies the pavement-surface column in Table 2(a). |
|---|---|
| Target | supported Table 2(a) publishes values by SUEWS surface type, including Pavement. |
| Values | supported The Pavement column gives Si = 0.48 mm, exactly matching both stored storage bounds. The source publishes one value, which the record faithfully repeats as its minimum and maximum. |
| Source | supported Järvi et al. (2011) are the earliest checked publication that states the exact 0.48 mm SUEWS pavement storage capacity. Järvi et al. (2014) later reuse it as an inherited value. |
| Place | supported The parameter is published by generic surface type, not as a Helsinki observation. Järvi et al. later use the same inherited value in Helsinki. |
| Representativeness | supported Generic scope reflects a literature parameter offered for the SUEWS Pavement class, without a city- or site-specific determination. |
| Applicable Scale | supported Table 2(a) defines the value for the Pavement land-cover class rather than for a whole neighbourhood, an individual facet, or a material specimen. |
| Method | supported Järvi et al. adopt and publish the literature value in their SUEWS parameter table. |
| Identity | supported The stable path, Helsinki origin and legacy ID preserve the migrated application-row identity; they do not recast the generic parameter as a Helsinki determination. |
Järvi et al. (2011) publish the exact 0.48 mm Pavement storage capacity as a generic SUEWS land-cover value. Their Table 2 footnote names Davies and Hollis (1981), but the cited conference paper, pages 434-443 of the Second International Conference on Urban Storm Drainage proceedings, remains unread. The accessible same-author 1981 doctoral thesis instead reports 1.00 mm for the road surface (UCL Discovery 1317854: https://discovery.ucl.ac.uk/id/eprint/1317854/). Davies and Hollis therefore must not be claimed as the exact 0.48 mm parameter source without checking the conference paper. Järvi et al. (2014) later reuse the value in Helsinki. The stable path, Helsinki origin, legacy ID and values remain unchanged.
