Where: Table 2(a), SUEWS parameters by surface type, p. 223
The Conif. Trees column publishes albedo alpha_i = 0.10. Footnote f cites Oke (1987) as the upstream literature source for the surface radiative properties.
Where: Table 2, original and adjusted albedo model inputs, p. 8
Shows evergreen-tree albedo as 0.10 in both the original and adjusted columns. Section 4.2.2 explains that evergreen seasonal variation was neglected because its cover was negligible at the two UK sites; Ward et al. did not derive or adjust this value.
| Name | supported The label identifies the published parameter class or model configuration. |
|---|---|
| Target | supported The source uses the parameter for the same SUEWS target represented by the record. |
| Values | supported Järvi et al. Table 2(a) publishes coniferous-tree albedo 0.10, and Ward et al. carry the same 0.10 minimum and maximum into their UK application without adjustment. |
| Source | supported Järvi et al. are the checked parameter publication for the exact coniferous-tree value. Ward et al. later reuse it unchanged in the UK configuration. |
| Place | supported Generic records a literature model default rather than a location-specific determination. The stable path and origin retain the later SE England application lineage. |
| Representativeness | supported The value is a general SUEWS coniferous-tree input reused unchanged at London and Swindon; neither paper presents it as a site, city or regional empirical determination. |
| Applicable Scale | supported Järvi et al. tabulate the value for the coniferous-tree land-cover class, so land_cover is the supported application scale. |
| Method | supported The database adopts the published land-cover parameter directly without performing a new measurement or fit. |
| Identity | supported The record preserves one migrated SE England application row while its evidence fields now describe the generic coniferous-tree value it actually reuses. Stable path, origin and legacy ID remain migration identity rather than evidence-scope claims. |
Järvi et al. Table 2(a) publishes coniferous-tree albedo 0.10. Ward et al. later carry it unchanged as both minimum and maximum in the London and Swindon configuration; they do not adjust or independently evaluate an evergreen albedo. The record now describes this as a generic land-cover literature parameter while preserving its stable path, raw origin and legacy identity. Neither value changes.
