Where: Table 2(b), general model run options, p. 223
Publishes the base-run values G1 16.48, G2 566.1, G3 0.216, G4 3.36, G5 11.07, G6 0.018, TH 40, TL 0, S1 0.45, S2 15 and Kmax 1200.
Where: Section 3.2, Parameter estimation, p. 225
Describes the 100-subset bootstrap and non-linear least-squares fit to five Vancouver and Los Angeles datasets, undertaken to generalise the coefficients for urban environments.
Where: Table 5(b), all-data 50% row, p. 227
Gives N 760 and the selected median coefficients G1 16.48, G2 566.1, G3 0.216, G4 3.36, G5 11.07 and G6 0.018 at the article's printed precision.
Where: Section 4.2, Surface conductance, p. 228
States that the final base-run coefficients are the median values from the 100 bootstrap subsets and describes them as the general all-dataset set.
This is the original publication of the fitted conductance parameter set. It supports the fit, method, pooled Vancouver and Los Angeles origin and article-precision values, but does not print the extra decimal places preserved by the later release workbook.
Where: SUEWS_Conductance, row 3, cells A3:O3
The static cells contain A3 code 100; B3:L3 values 16.4764, 566.0923, 0.2163, 3.3649, 11.0764, 0.0176, 40, 0, 0.45, 15 and 1200; N3 Default; and O3 Jarvi et al. (2011). The downloaded workbook bytes have SHA-256 e1a34632b0ab6b1aa379b8329a92ee584d130f54941c3d9eeca3e3303cde1d42.
The authoritative v2016a release artifact republishes the Järvi fit as SUEWS default code 100 and preserves the exact decimals carried by this database record.
| Name | supported Järvi et al. publish the conductance fit used for the base run, and the release workbook labels the exact row Default and Jarvi et al. (2011). |
|---|---|
| Target | supported Equation 15 defines the integrated surface-conductance parameterisation, and the workbook preserves the corresponding values on the SUEWS_Conductance sheet. |
| Values | supported Tables 2 and 5 publish G1-G6 at rounded precision and Table 2 publishes TH, TL, S1, S2 and Kmax exactly. The pinned v2016a workbook row publishes the complete stored tuple, including the exact four-decimal G1-G6 values, without requiring a value change. issue #302 |
| Source | supported Järvi et al. (2011) remains the original fit publication and parameter source. The separate UMEP-dev source records the later release workbook as an exact default compilation, rather than attributing its extra decimal places to the article. issue #302 |
| Place | supported Five datasets from Vancouver and Los Angeles were pooled expressly to generalise the fitted values for urban environments. Generic is therefore the parameter's intended application place, while origin now records the two cities that supplied the observations. |
| Representativeness | supported The article presents the pooled all-dataset median as a general urban parameter set and uses it in the SUEWS base run, supporting generic rather than a single-site evidence scope. |
| Method | supported Section 3.2 fits G1-G6 by non-linear least-squares regression within 100 bootstrap subsets, and Section 4.2 selects their median coefficients for the all-dataset base run. |
| Identity | supported Stable path and legacy ID 44240001 preserve the migrated default conductance row; no other current conductance record repeats this exact value set. |
The exact values have two distinct provenance roles. Järvi et al. (2011) is the original fit publication: Table 5(b) reports the pooled five-dataset 50th-percentile G1-G6 set at printed precision, while Sections 3.2 and 4.2 document its non-linear least-squares and bootstrap derivation. The later SUEWS v2016a workbook is the exact default compilation: SUEWS_Conductance row 3 labels code 100 as Default and Jarvi et al. (2011), while B3:L3 retain the complete eleven-value tuple. The stored numbers are unchanged; origin is corrected from Unspecified to Vancouver and Los Angeles, and method is recorded as fitted.
