Where: Water State sheet, row 2 (legacy ID 42240002)
The workbook stores Surface Water, Origin London, Name Small Fountain, StateLimit 15, WaterDepth 10 and Ref 90240000. Its SHA-256 is 50dfc15322115651f672fed86df1fdcc7dc8b13a58b7ced9b2e270b388aee6d3.
Where: Generated Water State YAML entry 42240002
The generated migration artifact preserves the workbook row exactly, including the unreferenced placeholder Ref 90240000.
| Name | supported Archived London small-fountain water-state configuration identifies the retained internal database row without presenting Small Fountain as a measured or published London parameter. issue #298 |
|---|---|
| Target | supported SUEWS defines StateLimit as the upper limit of an open-water surface state, matching the land_cover.water water-state target. |
| Values | supported The pre-migration workbook and its generated YAML conversion both store StateLimit 15 mm and WaterDepth 10 mm on legacy row 42240002. These values are preserved as an internal configuration; no publication or pinned SUEWS release was found that measures, derives or selects them. |
| Source | supported Unreferenced is correct because legacy Ref 90240000 is the repository's unreferenced placeholder and no parameter publication or released application row supports the 15/10 configuration. issue #298 |
| Place | supported London is the Origin stored on the exact pre-migration row. It preserves the internal configuration label and does not claim that the values were measured at a London fountain. |
| Representativeness | not applicable The archived row identifies no particular fountain, selection in a London model, or evidence reach. Omitting representativeness avoids presenting an unused internal configuration as a city default. issue #298 |
| Method | supported Assumed is the honest method for a configured state cap and water depth whose physical measurement, fit, calculation and release application are all undocumented. issue #298 |
| Identity | supported Legacy ID 42240002, the London origin, Small Fountain label and exact 15/10 pair uniquely identify the migrated row. It is referenced by no pre-migration type and no current archetype. |
This record is fully traceable as an archived internal database configuration, but not as a parameter publication or a released SUEWS application. The source workbook at commit 746dcd5 stores Water State row 2 as legacy ID 42240002, Water, London, Small Fountain, StateLimit 15, WaterDepth 10 and Ref 90240000; its bytes have SHA-256 50dfc15322115651f672fed86df1fdcc7dc8b13a58b7ced9b2e270b388aee6d3. The generated YAML at commit 053c004 preserves the same row exactly. None of the pinned SUEWS Water tables from v2016a through v2025a contains the row, and no pre-migration type or current archetype selects it. SUEWS documentation establishes StateLimit as a configurable maximum water state rather than evidence of a measured depth. The record therefore keeps the exact value, stable path, London origin, legacy ID and legacy WaterDepth, retains source unreferenced, records method assumed, and removes the unsupported claim that this unused configuration represents London at city scale.
