Applies to: parameters.alpha_bio_co2, parameters.beta_bio_co2
Where: Table 2.1, instantaneous all-data-set rectangular-hyperbola fit, p. 24
For 1,362 observations across the complete grouped closed-canopy dataset, the table gives F-infinity 43.35, apparent quantum yield alpha 0.044 and dark-respiration intercept 4.29.
Where: Eq. 29, complete instantaneous closed-canopy dataset, p. 37
Publishes the rectangular-hyperbola numerator and denominator with alpha 0.044 and saturation parameter 43.35; the separate fitted intercept is 4.29 and is not the stored temperature-response pair.
Applies to: parameters.resp_a, parameters.resp_b
Where: Eq. 5, ecosystem respiration versus soil temperature, p. 369
Publishes RE = 1.08 exp(0.064 Ts), the exact respiration pair mechanically reused in this compiled plant-canopy tuple.
Where: Sect. 2, Site and instrumentation, p. 358
Locates the respiration fit at the Morgan-Monroe State Forest tower in south-central Indiana.
Applies to: parameters.min_res_bioco2
Where: Eq. 11, soil and vegetation respiration, p. 8366
Defines respiration as max(a_i exp(Tair b_i), 0.6) for each vegetated surface.
Where: Appendix B, Estimating Minimum Soil Respiration, p. 8379
Reports the 0.60 minimum from chamber observations in a southern Finland boreal forest.
Where: database.xlsx, Biogen CO2 sheet, row ID 30240007
Carries Plant canopies, origin UK, SE England, alpha 0.044, beta 43.35, resp_a 1.08, resp_b 0.064, min_respi 0.6, three -999 inactive fields and Ref 90240043 in one compiled row.
| Name | supported Ruimy et al. analyse CO2 flux over closed plant canopies, and the migrated row preserves the concise name Plant canopies. |
|---|---|
| Target | supported The publication fits a surface-agnostic response across closed plant canopies, matching the migrated land_cover.common target. |
| Values | supported Ruimy Table 2.1 and Eq. 29 directly give alpha 0.044 and beta 43.35. Schmid Eq. 5 directly gives resp_a 1.08 and resp_b 0.064. Järvi Eq. 11 and Appendix B publish the later 0.60 minimum-respiration floor. The pre-migration row is the exact five-value compilation. |
| Source | supported Ruimy is the source for alpha and beta only. Parameter-level overrides identify Schmid for the respiration pair and Järvi for the minimum floor; the workbook records compilation lineage rather than supplying scientific evidence. issue #373 |
| Place | supported Ruimy pools heterogeneous closed-canopy datasets from many sites and vegetation classes, so the envelope is generic rather than south-east England evidence. The Schmid and Järvi leaf overrides preserve their separate Indiana and Finland study sites. |
| Representativeness | supported Ruimy offers the grouped fit as a general closed-canopy relationship, while the borrowed respiration fit and winter floor each remain explicitly site-scoped at leaf level. |
| Method | supported Ruimy and Schmid publish fitted coefficients. The Järvi override records the later measured chamber statistic used as the minimum-respiration floor. |
| Identity | supported Biogen CO2 row 30240007 preserves the exact name, origin, five active values, three -999 inactive fields and reference ID 90240043. The stable path and verbatim origin retain that migration identity while place and representativeness now describe the actual evidence reach. |
The stored tuple is traceable but is not one publication's result. Ruimy et al. supply the generic closed-canopy light-response fit; Schmid et al. supply the temperature-response pair from an Indiana hardwood forest; Järvi et al. later supply the 0.6 winter floor from Finnish chamber observations; and the pre-migration workbook combines them. Field-level provenance now preserves those roles without changing any value, raw legacy origin, stable path or legacy identity. The former south-east England evidence scope was a workbook attribution, not a claim supported by Ruimy et al.
