lai.lai_type | 1 |
lai.lai_min | 1.6 |
lai.lai_max | 3 |
Where: Supplement Table S3, SUEWS Lawn column, p. 3
Gives LAImax,i = 3 and LAImin,i = 1.6 for Lawn in the table of parameters used by SUEWS.
Where: Table A1, SUEWS phenology row, p. 2155
Shows SUEWS calculating daily LAI internally from GDD and SDD while clamping it to LAImax and LAImin, which supports the record's lai_type 1 selector.
Where: Sections 2.1 and 2.5, Zurich parks and model comparison, p. 2136, 2142
Identifies four public parks in Zurich and states that their lawn simulations are assumed representative of vegetation in the central 2 km by 2 km domain.
Where: Appendix B, Table B.1, Grass column, p. 10
Gives Helsinki Grass LAImin = 1.6 and LAImax = 5.9. Stagakis Table S3 cites Havu et al. across the LAI rows, but the earlier paper does not contain the Zurich maximum 3 and is therefore not substituted as the exact parameter source.
Where: Table 1, Shanghai Grass LAI, p. 1987
Gives Grass LAImax = 5.9 and LAImin = 3.2 for the Xujiahui Shanghai site, not the stored Zurich pair. The following model-setup text says only that 3.2 was increased from the earlier 1.6.
Where: Pre-migration Leaf Area Index row 31240022
Preserves Grass, origin Zurich, LAIEq 1, LAIMin 1.6, LAIMax 3 and Ref 90240064. This is compilation history and does not make Ao et al. scientific evidence for the tuple.
| Name | supported Grass is the SUEWS land-cover class used for the Zurich park lawns in the parameter table. |
|---|---|
| Target | supported Supplement Table S3 labels these as parameters used by the SUEWS model and its Lawn column corresponds to the grass land-cover target. |
| Values | supported Supplement Table S3 gives the exact Lawn pair LAImin 1.6 and LAImax 3. Table A1 shows SUEWS internally calculating seasonal LAI between those bounds, supporting lai_type 1. Havu et al. publish the same minimum but a 5.9 maximum for Helsinki, so their earlier table does not independently support the Zurich pair. |
| Source | supported Stagakis et al. is the directly checked publication that prints the exact SUEWS lawn values for the Zurich study. Ao et al. publish a Shanghai grass pair of 3.2 and 5.9, while the legacy row's Ao reference preserves only compilation history. source_legacy_ref retains that former link without continuing to export Ao as the parameter source. issue #356 |
| Place | supported The study applies the SUEWS lawn parameters to four public parks in Zurich, Switzerland. issue #357 |
| Representativeness | supported The same parameter set is used across four Zurich parks, and the study scales their lawn simulations to a central 2 km by 2 km city domain under an explicit representativeness assumption. issue #357 |
| Method | supported Literature records adoption of the exact SUEWS lawn tuple printed in the study supplement; the database performs no new fit or calculation. |
| Identity | supported The publication establishes the Zurich SUEWS lawn tuple, while legacy row 31240022 preserves its migrated Grass, Zurich and LAI-equation identity. The stable path, origin and legacy ID remain unchanged for traceability. |
Stagakis et al. Supplement Table S3 is the exact Zurich-study publication lineage for the stored SUEWS lawn tuple: LAImin 1.6 and LAImax 3. Its Table A1 shows the internal SUEWS LAI calculation bounded by those values. Havu et al. (2024), which the supplement cites across the LAI rows, instead publish 1.6 and 5.9 for Helsinki grass; Ao et al. (2018) publish 3.2 and 5.9 for Shanghai and only mention 1.6 as an earlier minimum. The record therefore cites Stagakis et al. as the exact parameter publication. The pre-migration row remains compilation evidence, and source_legacy_ref 90240064 preserves its former Ao link without presenting that link as scientific support. No value, stable path, origin, place, representativeness or legacy ID changes.
