max_conductance | 7.4 |
Where: Table 2, model parameter values by surface type, p. 223
Publishes gi,max 7.4 mm s-1 for coniferous trees.
Where: Supplement Table S3, Parameters used by SUEWS model, p. 3
Gives one Trees column and no maximum-conductance or G1 row.
Where: Title, abstract and Sect. 2.4.1, p. 2133, 2140
Establishes application to four Zurich urban parks and a single model Trees class.
| Name | supported Evergreen Tree matches the coniferous-tree category used for the published conductance value. |
|---|---|
| Target | supported Maximum vegetation conductance is a property of the land_cover.evetr target. |
| Values | supported Järvi et al. (2011) Table 2 publishes conifer maximum conductance as 7.4 mm s-1, exactly matching the stored value. |
| Source | supported Järvi et al. (2011) is the publication that prints 7.4. Stagakis et al. is retained as the later Zurich application context; its article and Supplement Table S3 do not publish maximum conductance. |
| Place | curation required The value is a published conifer model parameter rather than a Zurich-derived measurement. Stagakis establishes Zurich application context but does not document this value in its parameter table. |
| Representativeness | curation required The Zurich study evaluates four urban parks and does not establish a city-wide evergreen conductance value; whether a literature default applied there should remain city-classed requires curation. |
| Method | supported The record transcribes a parameter published in earlier literature. |
| Identity | curation required Stagakis uses a single Trees parameter class even though this database keeps separate Zurich deciduous and evergreen conductance records. The source correction does not settle whether both identities should remain. |
The parameter source is now settled: Järvi et al. (2011) publishes the exact 7.4 mm s-1 conifer value, while the later Zurich study does not print maximum conductance. The stable path and Zurich place retain the application context, not an assertion that the value was derived in Zurich. Human curation is still needed for the city-scale claim and for the separate evergreen identity, because Stagakis evaluates four parks and parameterises one Trees class rather than distinct evergreen and deciduous classes.
