state_limit | 0.25 |
Applies to: parameters.state_limit
Where: Pre-migration Water State row 42240042
Stores Buildings, SE England, StateLimit 0.25, WaterDepth -999 and Ref 90240002. The Ref records migration lineage and is not evidence that Ward et al. published the cell.
Applies to: parameters.state_limit
Where: V2016a SUEWS_NonVeg.txt buildings rows
Codes 150, 552 and 662 are buildings configurations and each stores StateLimit 0.25. This establishes exact release lineage, not scientific validation.
Where: StateLimit option applicability
The option table states that StateLimit in SUEWS_NonVeg.txt is currently only used for the water surface.
Where: SUEWS description, model setup and reported parameter tables, p. 2-8
The paper discusses moisture storage capacity generally and reports adjusted albedo and emissivity in Table 2, but it neither identifies StateLimit nor publishes 0.25 as a non-water buildings StateLimit.
| Name | supported Buildings is the preserved label of pre-migration water-state row 42240042. |
|---|---|
| Target | supported Both pinned artifacts classify the cell under the buildings entry of the non-vegetated surface table. |
| Values | supported The value 0.25 is supported as the exact preserved configuration cell only. This does not validate it as a scientifically determined non-water StateLimit. |
| Source | supported Unreferenced is correct because the release artifacts preserve the cell but do not provide a scientific derivation, the documented option is currently used only for water surfaces, and Ward et al. (2016) do not publish this non-water StateLimit. issue #124 |
| Place | supported SE England is the preserved application identity of the migration row, not an observation site established for this value. |
| Representativeness | supported Regional records the intended reach of the archived SE England configuration; it does not claim regional empirical validation of the value. |
| Method | supported Assumed denotes retention of an exact historical configuration cell whose scientific production method is not documented; it is not a claim that the value was measured, fitted, calculated or published. issue #124 |
| Identity | supported Legacy ID 42240042, the Buildings label, SE England origin and value 0.25 establish the stable archived configuration identity. |
This record is an archived SE England buildings configuration, not a scientifically validated non-water StateLimit determination. The exact 0.25 cell is present in both migration row 42240042 and the pinned v2016a SUEWS_NonVeg.txt buildings rows. However, the option documentation says non-vegetated StateLimit is currently used only for water surfaces, and Ward et al. (2016) do not publish this parameter. Source unreferenced and method assumed therefore preserve executable configuration lineage without inventing scientific provenance. The record value, stable path, origin, representativeness and legacy ID remain unchanged.
