Where: Table 4, pre-adjustment bare-soil coefficients, p. 13
Where: SUEWS v2016a SUEWS_OHMCoefficients.txt, codes 55 and 552 and multiplier notes
The article supplies the calculation rationale; the versioned companion table supplies the exact result.
Where: Figure 8, seasonal-coefficient and constant-coefficient model results, p. 14
This is application and validation at London and Swindon, not the observation source for the triplet.
The matching calculated database record preserves Ward's pre-adjustment code 55 input set.
| Name | supported The companion table identifies code 552 as code 55 multiplied for winter, with a2 unchanged. |
|---|---|
| Target | supported Ward et al. define these three values as coefficients in the OHM storage-heat equation. |
| Values | supported The exact code 552 triplet 0.445, 0.335, 11.77 matches the stored values. |
| Source | supported Ward et al. state the seasonal scaling and the companion v2016a table publishes the exact result. |
| Place | not applicable |
| Representativeness | not applicable |
| Applicable Scale | supported Equation 6 weights the coefficients for each surface type by its surface cover fraction, and Table 4 lists this input as BSoil, so the tuple describes the bare-soil land-cover class before neighborhood aggregation. |
| Method | supported The database adopts Ward's published output; Ward's authors produced it by scaling the compiled bare-soil code rather than by a new observation or regression. |
| Identity | supported The code, surface grouping and Winter season label agree with the v2016a table. |
Ward et al. compile the pre-adjustment bare-soil coefficients from four earlier literature rows, then calculate seasonal a1 and a3 values using Anandakumar-derived multipliers. Their London and Swindon runs validate/apply the coefficients but are not their observation input.
