albedo | 0.45 unreferenced |
emissivity | 0.94 unreferenced |
thermal_conductivity | 200 |
specific_heat | 418 |
density | 8900 |
Applies to: parameters.thermal_conductivity, parameters.specific_heat, parameters.density
Where: Table 6, Copper row, p. 17
Publishes thermal conductivity 200 W m-1 K-1, specific heat 418 J kg-1 K-1 and density 8900 kg m-3. The table does not publish albedo or emissivity.
Applies to: parameters.albedo, parameters.emissivity
Where: Table C.1, sample Z004, p. 210
Prints the numerical pair 0.45/0.94 for Metal painted, described as Metal with paint and colour Copper patina. It does not identify the substrate as bulk copper and therefore validates an identity mismatch rather than serving as parameter provenance for this record.
Where: Pre-migration Spartacus Material row 36248171
Stores the same complete tuple under Ref 99240099, whose registry entry says Missing, reference. This establishes release and migration lineage only.
| Name | supported The IES table and historical catalogue identify bulk Copper; the Kotthaus sample is explicitly painted metal with a copper-patina colour and is not used to define the material identity. |
|---|---|
| Target | supported Both sources describe thermophysical material properties used by a building-energy model. |
| Values | supported IES Table 6 publishes the exact thermal tuple 200/418/8900. The optical pair 0.45/0.94 is retained from the migrated row only and is explicitly exported as unreferenced and assumed; its numerical match to a painted Kotthaus sample is not treated as bulk-copper evidence. |
| Source | supported IES is the effective source only for thermal conductivity, specific heat and density. Field-level metadata prevents that citation or the identity-mismatched Kotthaus sample from being extended to the stored optical pair. issue #272 |
| Place | not applicable The generic material row makes no observation-place claim. |
| Representativeness | not applicable The generic material row makes no site, city or regional evidence-reach claim. |
| Method | supported Literature applies to the three IES-supported thermal leaves. Canonical overrides mark both optical leaves as assumed. |
| Identity | supported Legacy ID 36248171 identifies the retained catalogue row. Correcting field-level provenance does not change the stable path, values or bulk-copper identity, and does not relabel it as painted metal. |
This correction uses field-level provenance to retain all recoverable evidence without composing two physically different material identities. Matching numbers alone do not authorise joining bulk-copper thermal properties to a painted-metal optical sample. The two optical values therefore remain explicit unreferenced assumptions. No parameter value or stable identity changes.
