Simulating heat and CO2 fluxes in Beijing using SUEWS V2020b: Sensitivity to vegetation phenology and maximum conductanceLater compilation

Where: ModelRuns/Input/SUEWS_Irrigation.txt, code 5

Carries every stored value, including the day-of-year window 60 to 334 and the six Ie coefficients at four decimal places.

Where: ModelRuns/Input/SUEWS_SiteSelect.txt, Beijing grid 1 (2015 and 2016)

Assigns Code_EveTr 991, Code_DecTr 992, Code_Grass 993 and IrrigationCode 5 to the modelled Beijing grid, so those rows are the ones the published runs used.

Simulating heat and CO2 fluxes in Beijing using SUEWS V2020b: Sensitivity to vegetation phenology and maximum conductanceLater compilation

Where: Supplement Table S3, overall model parameter values used in model runs in Beijing, p. 2

Publishes b0,a = -19.19 mm, b1,a = 2.22 mm K-1, b2,a = 0.78 mm d-1, b0,m = -5.76 mm, b1,m = 0.67 mm K-1 and b2,m = 0.24 mm d-1, and attributes the whole table to Kokkonen et al. (2019).

Where: Sect. 3, Study site and measurements, p. 4554

The model domain is a 1 km circle around the IAP tower, covering roughly 80 % of the accumulated flux footprint; no city-wide domain is modelled.

Assessment findings

Namesupported
The label restates the target. Neither the article nor the archive names the row, and the record claims no published name.
Targetsupported
The archived row is a SUEWS_Irrigation entry, which is what the irrigation target holds.
Valuessupported
SUEWS_SiteSelect.txt gives the Beijing grid IrrigationCode 5, and code 5 of SUEWS_Irrigation.txt carries Ie_start 60, Ie_end 334, InternalWaterUse 0, Faut 0, H_maintain -999, Ie_a1 -19.1853, Ie_a2 2.2195, Ie_a3 0.7836, Ie_m1 -5.7556, Ie_m2 0.6658, Ie_m3 0.2351 and DayWat and DayWatPer of 1 on every day, which is the record exactly. Supplement Table S3 gives the same six coefficients rounded to -19.19, 2.22, 0.78, -5.76, 0.67 and 0.24.
Sourcesupported
Unreferenced is correct for the complete mixed configuration. Zheng et al. apply the six inherited irrigation coefficients rather than deriving them, while their released input supplies the Beijing-specific schedule and flags. source_legacy_ref 90240067 preserves the application-paper link without exporting Zheng as the parameter publication.
issue #328
Placesupported
Beijing identifies the archived application configuration and released model grid. It does not claim that the inherited empirical coefficients were independently determined there.
issue #328
Representativenesssupported
Site matches the 1 km model domain around the IAP tower. The source does not establish a Beijing-wide irrigation configuration.
issue #328
Methodsupported
Assumed describes retention of the complete released application configuration. It deliberately does not claim that the inherited coefficients and the Beijing schedule share one empirical production method.
issue #328
Identitysupported
The archive holds codes 4 and 5 with identical contents and the Beijing grid uses code 5; the database holds one record, which is the right count.

Scientific note

Every stored number is confirmed against the released Beijing model input. The row is retained as one archived application configuration because its schedule and flags belong with the exact code selected by the model, while its empirical coefficients are inherited overall SUEWS parameters rather than a Beijing fit. Source unreferenced prevents false attribution to Zheng et al.; method assumed describes the complete configuration choice; source_legacy_ref 90240067 preserves the application link. Beijing and site identify the released 1 km IAP-tower domain, not city-wide evidence. No value, stable path, origin, legacy ID or legacy coefficient is changed.
